The team headed to the Marketplace for some Intellectual services as they felt they were deviating from their use case in terms of large user data. The expert said, “Remember your value proposition, and keep your eyes on the route.” To make things crystal clear, the Challenge Statement was re-explained so that everyone was on the same page. After the service, they felt they were back on track.

Unicorn’s marketplace discussion

The team, in exchange for one of their xCoins, received a Business and Sales service that provided them constructive feedback and showed them a different point of view. They realized they were deviating from the main objective and the Business and Sales expert advised them where, why, and how to build trust.
The Sales expert told them, “The 3 main points of the solution to focus on are the product, value proposition, and the customer. Make your pitch shorter to make it sound crisp and exactly state the value proposition.”

The expert for Business and Sales said, “The presentation needs to be shorter and crisper. First, talk about the three main features and benefits that you get from the solutions, and then highlight the business model.”

The team used their xCoin for the Business and Sales expertise. Their structure was appreciated however; the feedback was that it needs to be streamlined. The expert told them, “There are a lot of good ideas, but the main idea needs to be upfront and then talk about the other ideas as an addition to this. It will be beneficial if you have the information stored at a central location and then act on the data from this location. All that needs to be done is the polishing to the story.”

The team used their xCoin for the Business and Sales service. The expert appreciated their idea and concept, but it needed to be packaged with a strong story. 3 to 4 aspects that needed to be covered in order to sell the story – Logistics, integration with Alexa, and Big Data. The team felt the interaction added value, the strong points were highlighted from the pitch, and insights on many new aspects were given.

The team used an xCoin for Design Studio services and had an in-house designer work with them for 4 hours. This helped them come up to speed. The designer advised them on how to collaborate design with development and bridge the gap. The designer said, “I like their idea and concept and their value proposition can be converted into a real-time application.”

This team used their xCoin in exchange of a Product Thinking service for 15 minutes to add value to their current proposition. It gave them insights on revenue, USP, and saleable value proposition. It reassured them that they were on the right track. The product manager said, “We helped them with the revenue structure and the monetization of the app with suggestions for some value added features.”

I was one of the participants in X24 Season 1 held last year. X24 is not that easy as it will test you and your skills under immense pressure and equal enthusiasm. Just one thing I would like to share is have FUN in whatever you do… don’t get tensed or get carried away with the pressure…… Only remember you need enjoy this 24 hours while building awesome solution with awesome teammates….
